I started my return to fitness in March of 2009 to further my cardiac rehabilitation after receiving a new heart valve. At first I was overwhelmed with all of the people busily getting in shape. I had my doubts if I could ever be one of those people.  I was fortunate to make the decision to get a trainer to guide me through my journey back to health.  I have the good fortune of being trained by Chris Weaver. He has been instrumental in my success. I look back at photos of the “old me” and just can’t believe how far I’ve come. I get a kick when people I have not seen in a while look at me and just can’t believe my progress. I feel like a new person, and I’m not finished yet. I always look forward to coming to TI Fitness. It is and has been a fun learning experience for me. I have my trainer Chris and the staff at TI Fitness to thank for their guidance, support and enthusiasm.

I started training with Sam 5 months before my wedding, with the goal of fitting into my dress.  Not only did I fit into my wedding dress, but I also had to have it taken in 2 sizes because of my weight loss.  In those 5 months, I lost 35 pounds and inches everywhere.  I went from a size 14 to a size 8.  I continued on my journey to being fit and healthy after my wedding and lost even more weight.  Working out before Sam was exhausting and frustrating because I didn’t know what to do.  Now, I look forward to going to T I Fitness and training with Sam because every session with him is fun and challenging.

Training with RaeAnna has changed my life in so many ways.  I not only look better but I feel better and have a new zest for life and find myself wanting to try new things.  I have lost 60 pounds so far and I’m still going strong.  When I started training I was a size 18 and now I’m a size 8 and went from wearing a size XXL shirt to a size Small.  When I first started training walking a mile on the treadmill was a challenge, now I can run 6.3 miles in 60 minutes and then do another 4.5 miles on the elliptical right after.  My training sessions are always different, never boring and always challenging at TI Fitness.  I can honestly say that I’m addicted to working out now and love the way it makes me feel and makes me look.  Making the decision to work with a trainer to lose weight and get in shape is the best decision I have ever made.  RaeAnna is a not only a great trainer but she has become a great friend and I love training with her.

Three years ago I weighted 267, was tired all the time, my muscles and bones ached so badly that daily chores and work duties were painstaking difficult.  I had tried countless diet plans and exercise routines, yet nothing worked.  I decided that I needed the help of someone that could motivate me to lose weight.  This person would need to show me how to eat properly and they had to have the knowledge, expertise and experience to customize a personal workout plan I could actually do in order to challenge my body and transform me into the trim, strong and energetic person of my dreams. I found this person in Cleon.  His friendly, positive and motivating personality allowed me to feel confident that I could do it, inspired to try, and hopeful that I could attain my dream of a healthier and happier me.  Within a month I saw results. My personal training sessions with Cleon at TI Fitness provided me with guidance in the proper use of exercise equipment and strive to push my body to the limit in order to create that change that I so much desired.   Today I weight 160 lbs and have the energy level and muscle strength that allows me to go to do all the things I always wanted to do but was too out of shape to accomplish. Thank you Cleon for the new lease on life!

My friend and I one day decided to walk South Mountain. She is a pretty good athlete but I said to myself why not, what is it going to hurt. I was 265 lbs walking up South Mountain. When we reached the half way point, I was out of breath.  I finished and when I got home I took my shoes and socks off and every toe had a blister on it. It was very painful but that is when I determined I needed to get this weight off.  I met my wonderful trainer and he taught me things that I thought I wouldn't even imagine to accomplish on my own. I followed his diet and joined his group at TI Fitness. In one year I went from 265 lbs to 135 lbs and from a size 24 to a size 4.  To this day I have continued to keep my weight off and I promised myself and my kids that I would never go back to the old Amanda again. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work but in the end it is well worth every second of what I put into my body to get here.
